Present with a clear point
Structure updates, pitches and presentations so people understand what matters and what should happen next.
A friendly room for real-world practice
Confidence grows when you practise in a real room, receive useful feedback and return for another attempt. Free Speakers gives adults in Frankfurt a welcoming English-speaking club in which to do exactly that.
A practice room for real situations
You do not need to want a career on stage. Most people simply want to communicate more clearly when colleagues, clients, classmates or a wider audience are listening.
Structure updates, pitches and presentations so people understand what matters and what should happen next.
Practise pausing, breathing and continuing when your heart speeds up or the perfect sentence disappears.
Use short impromptu speaking exercises to organise an answer when you have little time to prepare.
Focus on clarity and connection instead of trying to hide an accent or eliminate every grammatical mistake.
The Toastmasters practice model
Free Speakers is an English-speaking Toastmasters club, not a lecture course. Members develop by doing: delivering prepared projects, taking meeting roles, answering Table Topics and evaluating other speakers.
The meeting has a reliable structure, but each evening feels different because the speakers, themes and ideas change. That combination makes it easier to take a manageable risk without knowing exactly what every moment will bring.

Notice what changes when an idea meets an audience rather than a mirror.
Understand what already worked and select one useful adjustment.
Use the adjustment in another speech until confidence becomes experience.
Club, course or solo practice?
No single format solves every speaking challenge. The useful difference is how often you can practise, who responds and whether the learning continues after one event.
| Format | Best for | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Toastmasters club | Ongoing confidence, speaking habits and leadership practice | Recurring live practice, peer feedback, rotating roles and structured Pathways projects |
| One-day course | A concentrated introduction or a specific professional technique | Expert instruction in a limited time, often with fewer opportunities to repeat skills over several months |
| Private coaching | A confidential or highly specific presentation challenge | Individual attention and tailored preparation, usually without the variety of a recurring audience |
| Solo practice | Rehearsing wording, timing and slides | Flexible and useful preparation, but no live audience response or external feedback |
Free Speakers is a peer-led Toastmasters club. It does not replace clinical support for severe anxiety or specialist coaching for a high-stakes event. It offers something different: a dependable room in which regular practice can become normal.
Speaking English with real people
Free Speakers meetings are held in English, but the room is not a language exam. International members and guests bring different accents, vocabularies and levels of experience.
The goal is to help an audience follow your thinking. If you lose a word, you can pause, rephrase and continue. Those moments are part of communication, not proof that you do not belong.
